Q: Does the shelving require floor anchoring?
A: For heights exceeding 2400 mm or per-tier loads exceeding 800 kg, anchor bolts must be used to secure upright bases to the concrete floor. For lower heights and lighter loads, expansion bolts or weighted bases may be used, subject to on-site safety assessment.

Q: Will beam-to-upright connections loosen over time?
A: Claw-type locks with bolted fastening do not loosen under normal load conditions. Re-tighten bolts 30 days after initial use, then inspect every 6 months.

Q: Is this shelving compatible with forklift operation?
A: The design is compatible with pallet forklifts and counterbalance forklifts. The clearance between beam bottom and floor must be set according to fork lifting height. Recommended aisle width is not less than the forklift minimum turning radius plus 200 mm.

Precautions

    Do not exceed the rated load per tier. Distribute loads evenly across the full beam length. Avoid applying concentrated loads at beam midpoints.

    Install column guards on the exterior of aisle-side upright bases to prevent upright deformation from forklift or pallet jack impact.

    When placing racks back-to-back, back tie bars must be installed and secured between the two rack units. Do not omit.

    Do not stack goods above the top beam level on the uppermost tier to prevent falling hazards.

    For liquid container storage, place spill containment trays on shelf panels to prevent liquid leakage from corroding upright bases or floors.

    Check the concrete floor flatness before installation. Height variation shall not exceed 5 mm per meter. Use steel shims for leveling if out of range.
