European-Style Adjustable-Base A/B Double-Sided Rack

The European-style adjustable-base A/B double-sided rack measures 1300mm in length, 1000mm in width, and 1700mm in height. It is constructed from cold-rolled steel and square tubes, processed through laser cutting, bending, spot welding, grinding, and electrostatic powder coating. This A/B double-sided rack features a composite design with shelves on one side and hooks on the other. The A-side is equipped with shelves for boxed, bagged, and regular-shaped merchandise, while the B-side is fitted with hooks for hanging lightweight items with packaging or pre-drilled holes. The adjustable feet at the base compensate for minor floor irregularities, enabling on-site deployment without embedded anchor bolts. The A-side and B-side functions operate independently, making the rack suitable for composite storage scenarios in retail displays and industrial warehousing that require both shelving and hanging functions. Material thickness, frame dimensions, and finish color are customizable to specific application requirements.

Core Advantages

Functional versatility – The A/B dual-sided structure integrates both shelving and hanging functions on a single rack. The A-side accommodates regular-shaped items, while the B-side accommodates hanging items, reducing the variety of equipment needed and minimizing floor space occupation.

Space utilization – The double-sided design allows simultaneous product display on both sides of the aisle. Each side can be accessed independently, increasing display density within the same floor area.

Floor adaptability – Adjustable feet with threaded lifting mechanisms independently compensate for minor unevenness on concrete, epoxy, or hardened floors, eliminating the need for floor anchors or secondary leveling.

Structural rigidity – Uprights are cold-formed with integrated stiffening ribs. The A and B sides are connected through shelf brackets and hanging rods to form a stable frame, resisting lateral thrust and torsional deformation under load.

Coating durability – Electrostatic powder coating provides adhesion meeting cross-cut test requirements, with corrosion and scratch resistance. Color stability is maintained under indoor environmental conditions.

Customization flexibility – Material thickness, overall dimensions, shelf quantity and hook arrangement, and finish color can be adjusted based on item specifications and display plans, with production made to order.

Application Scenarios

Home improvement and hardware retail stores – A-side displays small hardware items, screw boxes, sealants, and other regularly packaged goods; B-side hangs tools, mops, brooms, and other items with packaging loops or pre-drilled holes.

Supermarkets and convenience stores – A-side displays bagged snacks, bottled beverages, and similar items; B-side hangs small hardware, cleaning supplies, and the like.

Industrial warehouses and workshops – A-side stores components, toolboxes, and other regular items; B-side hangs cable reels, hoses, and protective equipment.

Promotional and exhibition displays – The double-sided structure is suitable for temporary booths, displaying different product categories on both sides simultaneously to maximize display capacity per unit area.

FAQ & Precautions

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the load capacities of the A-side and B-side the same?

The load capacities differ between the A-side shelves and B-side hooks. Shelves are designed for regular-shaped items, with a uniformly distributed load range of 60–100 kg per tier (depending on material thickness and span). Hooks are designed for hanging items, with a load range of 5–15 kg per hook (depending on hook material and fixing method). It is recommended to specify the usage requirements for both sides during customization.

What is the maximum compensation range of the adjustable feet?

Each foot provides a threaded adjustment range of 20–50 mm. If floor height differences exceed this range, partial floor leveling is recommended prior to rack installation to ensure upright verticality and overall load stability.

Can hook spacing and types be adjusted?

Yes. The spacing, length, and load specifications of hooks on the B-side can be customized based on the dimensions and weight of the items to be hung. Common hook types include straight hooks, L-shaped hooks, U-shaped hooks, and adjustable hooks.

Do the adjustable feet require maintenance after long-term use?

It is recommended to inspect the foot threads and locking nuts every 6–12 months. If the rack is to be relocated, raise the feet off the ground before moving, and re-level after repositioning to prevent thread damage during dragging.

Precautions

During installation, adjust each leveling foot to achieve solid floor contact and verify the rack verticality with a spirit level to prevent structural deformation or localized overloading caused by suspended feet.

When storing items on the A-side shelves, distribute the weight evenly across each shelf surface to prevent concentrated loads from causing bending deformation.

When hanging items on the B-side hooks, ensure hooks are fully inserted into the hanger holes and locked securely to prevent heavy items from slipping off.

Before relocating the rack, raise all leveling feet off the ground. Re-level and lock the nuts after repositioning to prevent thread damage during dragging.

If the coating becomes scratched or chipped, apply rust-preventive treatment promptly to prevent substrate oxidation and corrosion in humid environments.
